MAP+ GRISCHA
Since 2007, TYDAC has been responsible for the GeoGR WebGIS and Geodata Shop offering. We would like to thank GeoGR for the trust over such a long period and for the excellent cooperation! TYDAC, whose majority owners come from the Italian-speaking part of the Grisons, decided at that time to develop an alternative solution based on MAP+. Thanks to our experience and the impressive amount of data we process for our nodi-platform, we were able to develop our new "universal platform" in less than two weeks. Since we had no restrictions, we were able to integrate all possible data from other sources in addition to the geodata of the canton.
MAP+ GRISCHA - The unique geoportal for Graubünden
MAP+ Grischa is the regional extension of MAP+ Suisse, specifically developed for Graubünden. The portal combines cantonal, national and European geodata in a modern, intuitive interface in five languages, including Romansh Grischun!
With over 300 topics across roughly 40 categories at your disposal, everything is clearly structured and easy to browse. Thanks to the «External map services» feature, we also access numerous web services from the canton as well as around 700 federal services.
Powerful measuring and drawing tools, integrated Google Street View, the MAP+ 3D viewer and many other functions make MAP+ Grischa a versatile working tool for administration, business and the public.
- Direct link to the portal: gr.mapplus.ch
- Direct start with municipality (example Poschiavo): gr.mapplus.ch/poschiavo
- Direct start in Romansh: gr.mapplus.ch/?lang=rm
- Tourism portal: gt.mapplus.ch
Cantonal data - Graubünden and neighboring cantons
MAP+ Grischa brings together all geodata relevant to the population, municipalities and professionals in the canton of Graubünden - directly from official geoservices or quality-checked, prepared and expanded by us.
- Official surveying (updated daily): parcels, planned buildings, owner inquiries, ÖREB cadastre, addresses, place names and more
- Spatial planning: building zones, zoning plans, general design plans (GDP), general development plans (GDP), regional plans
- Environment: federal inventories, natural hazards, water protection, groundwater
- Extended perimeter: official surveying (where available) also for Glarus, St. Gallen, Ticino and Uri - supplemented by all federal data and selected European data
This gives you consistent information across cantonal borders from a single application.
Federal data - intelligently integrated and expanded
The federal government currently provides almost 1,000 geodata topics. We have selected the most relevant content, integrated it seamlessly and partly prepared and enriched it.
- Building and dwelling register (GWR): over 3 million records with improved display and enhanced queries
- Heating systems of buildings: intuitive visualization of energy and heat sources
- Terrain data: elevation queries, relief display, contour lines at 0.5 m intervals, slope analysis
- LUBIS aerial image collection: around 500,000 analog aerial images (color, infrared, black and white) and terrestrial images - specially prepared for MAP+
- Historical aerial images (swissimage): a timeline from 1946 to the present
- Solar suitability: potential analysis for roofs and facades
- Mobile phone antennas (3G/4G/5G): with performance data
- Cultural heritage protection inventory (ISOS): valuable townscapes at a glance
- And much more: discover the variety of available data directly in the portal.
South Tyrol, Valtellina and Vorarlberg - looking beyond borders
Beyond cantonal and national borders, MAP+ Grischa also offers valuable content. In addition to datasets available across Europe, regional information has been deliberately integrated and prepared - including aerial images, hiking trails, signposts and other touristic and topographic data.
Ideal for planning, tourism and cross-border projects.
Europe-wide data sources - continuously updated
- OpenStreetMap: weekly updated points of interest (POI)
- Beer Me! Database: international brewery data - including regional specialties such as Pacific and Birraria Poschiavina
- Hut and mountain lists: carefully curated sources from the Alpine region
- Webcams: current images via Windy
- And many more topics: go on a digital discovery journey through Graubünden and beyond.
Example of an embedded map
Embedded map with the following features:
- Search for parcels, addresses, municipalities, place names etc.
- Query parcels including owners and ÖREB (zoom to parcel level)
- Google Street View
- Switch the basemap to swissimage
Examples
Here are a few examples of how TYDAC processes federal data and the specific added value this creates for users.
The swisstopo Topographic Landscape Model TLM contains
objects that shape the landscape, e.g. buildings, roads and bodies of water and is basis for the
production of the national maps. TYDAC produced on this basis its own map which can be used as a
background map for many applications.
Added value: high quality map
The swisstopo Topographic Landscape Model TLM contains
as well all labels of the national maps. We setup labeling layers in black and in yellow. The yellow
ones being very useful for orientation on aerial images.
Added value: useful orientation
swisstopo provides elevation data such as: swissALTI3D,
a precise digital elevation model (ground altitude), swissSURFACE3D models all natural and man-made
objects of the surface (such as buildings an trees). Available are derivative products such as slope
and relief. TYDAC created itself some derivative products as slope in % and contours in up to 0.5m
intervals. In addition swissALTI3D and swissSURFACE3D heights can be queried at any point in the
landscape. This was the base for TYDAC to build a new 3D surface.
Added value:High quality 3D terrain
The Inventory of Swiss Heritage Sites (ISOS) designates
and documents the most valuable sites of national importance. It makes it possible to understand the
history and identity of sites and is thus an important basis for quality settlement development.
Many offer a wide choice of stunning pictures, we integrated that in a way that you see the
direction the photo ist taken.
Added value: unique integration of the available information
and pictures
This swisstopo image collection comprises around 500'000
analog aerial photos (color, color infrared or black and white images) and terrestrial images.
Around 320'000 images are shown in the form of the image center coordinates, the respective covered
floor segment (footprint) and with meta information. Our implementation shows information about the
footprint, the image, a preview, a direct download link for the original image in TIFF format and a
link to the zoomable full size image on map.geo.admin.ch.
Added value: better integration
The GWR contains information on construction projects,
buildings, apartments, building entrances and streets. The data shows heating system graphically
(color) illustrates the energy/heat source of the most powerful heating system. It is important to
note the status of the data, some of the data comes from the 2000 census.
Added value: better
integration, data download capabilites (on request)
An exclusive combination of SwitzerlandMobility,
swisstopo hiking trails, swisstopo maps, aerial images and TLM. In addition a wide choice of points
of interest or information about einvironment and nature. Query the altitude at any location.
Generate profiles and PDF reports for all types of routes.
Added value: unique integration of
many datasets related to outdoor sports
Cell sites: 2G, 3G, 4G or 5G? How strong are the
antennas? Everything at a glance! The data comes from the Federal Office of Communications
OFCOM and is updated weekly, therefore always up to date. It is also worth knowing: the individual
symbols are composed of up to 124 parts!
Added value: cell type and strength at a glance
We update the location and base data weekly and link it
to the publicly available timetables of ÖV Plus. At a glance you see the next available
connections. In combination with the Shared Mobility layer with a live view on available means of
transport such as cars, bikes, scooters, etc. you have a unique view on your way to move with public
transport.
Added value: unique data integration of different sources
